Woosik Choi’s works explore the impermanence of human habitation and the fluid relationship between nature and the built environment. In the "Garden" series, he envisions spaces where human-centered perspectives have dissolved and landscapes that embrace ecological coexistence.

The "Shower Garden" presents a small house adrift in an expansive blue environment, evoking a sense of isolation yet also harmony within a vast, non-human-centric space. The house becomes a fragile yet enduring presence, adapting to its surroundings rather than controlling them.

The "Shadow Garden" presents a dreamlike forest where nature fills the space, with towering trees weaving through the composition. The human structures, small and unobtrusive, are permeated by the landscape rather than standing apart from it. This interplay symbolically shows how humans form space as part of nature, not as separate beings from nature.

By portraying fluid, symbolic landscapes, Choi invites viewers to consider a future where human presence is no longer the center, but rather a part of a greater ecological narrative.
