In an era where space is increasingly governed by predictive models and computational images, Serix emerges as an operationalized landscape where the "randomness" of human struggle is codified into a ludic system. While contemporary consciousness often wanders into the nostalgia of parallel universes or the "what-ifs" of the past, we remain paralyzed by the fractured reality of the present. Serix is an AI-augmented practice that maps real-world challenges—transitions, systemic frictions, and social shifts—onto a generated world-line. By navigating different characters, traits, and strategies, players inhabit a simulation of parallel temporalities. However, the game’s core lies in its "spiritual prompts": a mapping of intent and action that serves not as an escape, but as an enlightenment toward the immediate. If AI can simulate infinite fractured horizons, can we locate the "antidote" for our singular existence within this digital noise? Through this design inquiry, Serix explores whether the extension of humanity into AI-generated spaces can ultimately guide us back to the urgency of the now.

About the Artist

Yuchuan Yu

Yuchuan Yu is a New York-based designer whose practice exists at the intersection of systematic rigor and social inquiry. In his professional work for Microsoft, SAP, and Ford, he navigates the complex tension between business imperatives and technical constraints, architecting B2B ecosystems that transform high-stakes logic into seamless user experiences. For Yuchuan, these enterprise systems are not merely tools; they are the structural skeletons upon which he builds a more profound design philosophy. Beyond the corporate sphere, Yuchuan views design as a medium for social intervention. He is not just designing functionality, but designing a "dialogue" that captures and responds to the silent, co-existing, yet undefined shared challenges within the community. His design language navigates the space between extreme functionalism and deep speculative provocation. By transforming cold technical architectures into warm social narratives, he builds inspiring perceptual tension upon a foundation of practicality, challenging the boundaries of utility to spark collective reflection and resonance.
