My project, "Modular Habitat", tackles a clear problem: the lack of suitable living spaces for urban cleaners. These essential workers are often overlooked, and their personal space is frequently non-existent, sometimes forcing them to use public facilities at work for basic needs. "Modular Habitat" proposes a modular system that efficiently uses constrained spaces. By coordinating both horizontal and vertical approaches, the design maximizes functionality and comfort within a minimal footprint. This isn't just about creating efficient spaces; it's about affirming the basic human right to a private and respectful environment fairly for everyone in our community. Through architectural design, "Modular Habitat" aims to highlight social inequalities and offer a solution to improve the quality of life for the marginal population, showing how little design can make a real difference.
