This initiative aims to simulate and reshape the intertidal micro-topography to establish a porous, complex, and stable artificial oyster reef ecosystem. The method transcends the simple "dropping of rocks," relying instead on meticulous topographic design to generate the ideal physical surfaces and hydrodynamic conditions necessary for the attachment, growth, and reproduction of oysters.Based on the concept of radioactive lines and ocean current patterns, triangular oasis islets are created. Combined with yu pai — the unique fishing rafts native to Fujian — an initial design proposal is thus formed.The image shows that due to the elevation of the terrain, nutrients brought by wave erosion accumulate on the slope, plants gradually grow, forming a habitat for oysters, which greatly increases the fishermen's catch.
