Cogida and Death is an audiovisual interactive poem designed for mobile phones, inspired by Federico García Lorca’s Cogida and Death. This project redefines how we experience poetry, transforming it into an immersive journey. Users access the poem by scanning a QR code, where they can explore Lorca’s themes of mortality through touch, animations and text. Accompanying the visuals is a music score that enhances the emotional depth of the experience. Users are encouraged to tap on the play button on page 2 to engage fully.

The work responds to the exhibition theme, Wanderlust and Nostalgia in the New Age, by examining how digital technology redefines our experience of memory and literature. It reflects on the transient, personal nature of consuming art in a digital format, mirroring the fleeting and intimate experience of reading poetry on a mobile device.

Designed using HTML5, CSS, with Lottie animations and original music triggered by user interaction.
