2024

Medium:

Digital print on paper

Dimension:

11 x 17 in

No Stop City 2024 explores the tension between infinite exploration and personal identity within urban spaces. The design presents two contrasting yet interconnected experiences: the first floor, an open, fluid, and boundless public space, symbolizes humanity’s insatiable desire to explore new frontiers. In contrast, the second floor consists of entirely independent units, representing the uniqueness of individual identity and self-expression. Connecting these two realms are personalized staircases, more than just pathways—they serve as symbols of personal journeys, bridging the infinite with the intimate. Each staircase becomes a statement of autonomy, embodying the tension between the collective and the self, the expansive and the contained.

At its core, No Stop City 2024 challenges traditional urban structures, rejecting the idea of fixed centers and rigid boundaries. Instead, it envisions a city that expands without limits, fluid and democratic. The design defies consumer-driven urban planning, advocating for a space where people are free to shape their environment and lives without dependency on consumption. Through the seamless integration of architecture, technology, and human life, this project creates a dynamic, ever-adapting system where spaces evolve with the needs of their inhabitants. Ultimately, Non-Stop City 2024 invites us to question how we inhabit cities, urging us to reflect on the limitless possibilities of exploration while never losing sight of who we are within these ever-expanding spaces.
