Tong Wang
Tong Wang is a multidisciplinary artist. (born in 1997, in Chengdu, China; currently living in Brooklyn, New York) Her works address various themes, particularly focusing on the identity and experiences of Asian women, highlighting their struggles and awakenings under cultural and societal pressures. Through her art, she explores the clash between tradition and modernity and how women strive to find selfexpression and affirmation in a world marked by gender inequality.
Her work has shown in numerous exhibitions and galleries across the country, including Khodynka Gallery Moscow, Russia, Royal Society Of American Art New York and Shang Hai Young Art Fair and China Oil painting Institute Art Museum.
XiangLong Li
XiangLong Li (b.1995 HuangShi, China; lives in Brooklyn, New York) earned his BFA in Illustrated Book from the China Central Academy of Fine Arts and his MFA in Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts.
Xianglong’s work appropriates symbols to redesign and reinterpret social events and daily life, focusing on the cultural dislocation and information fragmentation caused by modern information channels like pop culture and internet imagery. His creations span painting, video, and 3D model animations, using playful yet absurd visuals to reconstruct a perspective of observation and reflection that exists outside mainstream language.
