A fictional family album that highlights the diversity within the Asian community

This project curates a diverse collection of film stills from a wide range of Asian cinema to reflect the rich tapestry of Asian communities and the collective memory of what "home" means across cultures.

While Asia is a vast and complex region with deep cultural histories, modern depictions of Asian culture often focus narrowly on East Asia. Through this project, Shaoyang aims to showcase the richness and diversity of Asian cultures, fostering greater understanding and connection among various Asian communities through shared experiences and memories.
