Dimension:

For mobile and desktop

CitiFix is a user-centered urban repair platform designed to streamline communication between citizens and government regarding infrastructure issues. Leveraging digital technology, CitiFix enables real-time reporting, tracking, and resolution of municipal problems such as road conditions, lighting, and public safety. The platform embodies a vision of efficient and transparent governance through human-technology collaboration.

CitiFix was developed using design thinking and human-centered research, incorporating data visualization to help both citizens and government personnel better understand issues and allocate resources effectively. Additionally, maintenance crews use augmented reality (AR) technology to visualize and resolve issues more efficiently in the field. The platform integrates GIS data and mobile-friendly interaction patterns to create a responsive and scalable solution.

CitiFix explores the complex dialogue between technology and humanity, redefining public participation and urban maintenance in the digital age. As cities become increasingly shaped by data and technology, CitiFix invites reflection on how individuals can maintain agency in shaping their environments. The project asks: How can technology simultaneously shape the future of urban living and strengthen public responsibility?
